Acer Aspire T100

My daughter did a windows update (XP) to her computer shut it down now it won't do anything. No fans run and it appears to be dead. Righy after the update it would start for about 6 seconds then shut off.
Any ideas what is wrong?
It is about 6 years old. I believe a P4

hi ,will it boot in safe mode [hitting f8 when booting computer ,choose last know good configuration
,if that doesn't work try safe mode ,if that works go to control panel/ add and remove programs ,click to show all windows updates along the top ,uninstall latest updates ,hope you can get into safe mode ,good luck
