does 8800gts req cooling?

i might be buying a 8800gts. i am not sure if it requires cooling.i do understand that the minimum power requirement is 400W but i am not sure if it requires extra fans or cooling. Will my pc actually heat up if i dont put extra fans or cooling.

I can't hurt except for the size of the cooling fan and if there is space to put it, is what I think
