Is my monitor going?

I have a Dell 20" Trinitron Ultrascan P1110 that's about 2+ years old and text objects are starting to get blurred at the edges of the monitor. Text in the middle is less blurred but there still seems to be some lack of clarity. I reset the monitor and degaused with no improved performance. On top of that I tried correcting using the convergence setting but that failed too. Is the monitor wearing out already or could this be related to the video card?

update your drivers first.
I have a dell monitor aswell dell produces good monitors
