nVidia Disaster?

What do you guy's think of this video...Is this really as bad as he makes it seem? I'm looking at a few computers (laptops) and they all have these types of video cards. Should I stay away from these computers, they all have really good specs, and I would be bummed to know that I couldn't buy these computers, because they would eventually die. Should I worry, or will I be fine if I buy one of these laptops?
