Monitor says NO Signal

Changed my PSU and computer worked fine. Then I shut it down and it showed a Boot error. I opened it up (the case) and now the monitor show no signal and the cdrom drive has no power, but the computer starts up??

did you change it with a new psu. just a used one ,that may have not been any better than the one replaced

The PSU was new.

how about some specs on the computer, and the power supply !
like wattage of psu.
cpu size/ram ,hard drive size and OS installed ,ect ect
