I have my new computer hooked to a Vizio HD TV as monitor. Output from computer is DVI and input on TV is RGB. I am thinking of changing to the HDMI input of the TV still using the DVI output from the computer video card. Anyone else with ideas based on similar experience. One reason to do it is that my TV remote does not have a PC button on it, but does have HDMI so I can easily switch between TV and computer. Also, the TV has a message that says no RGB signal even though I see the computer output on the screen. I fix this by going through all the inputs and back to RGB again and then no message, just the computer output which stays stable and looks good until I turn the TV off and back on again.
