Samsung monitor problem

SAMSUNG MONITOR PROBLEM

hi guys, i have 17'' samsung SyncMaster793s model CRT silver black and now i am facing a prole m whenever i switch it on using power button all the process is done but i can not see the display through the monitor,but i can hear startup music (typical ms windows Xp) but whenever i tap it on monitor it starts diplaying color and then i set the contrast and brightness then it works properly till next startup of my comp......

it seems problem with monitor it self if your monitor is under warranty then first go for it ,if not pls check power & data cable connected properly to PC . also check replacing them if have additional one
