Dell xps m1330 black screen at start up

hi,
my laptop shows black screen at start up!.. at first it was giving me sudden black screen while my computer was on. Now gives black screen at start up!

please help

Does it show anything at all before it goes black?
Does it produce any beeps?

no beeps.
sometimes it shows some stripes... it loads the system but the screen is not displaying, when it loads i can see the green light of windows vista but nothing else.

Can you hook it up to an external monitor and see if that works?

i think the problem was with the drivers, display driver was corrupted!..

I have the same problem now. How do you fix the display driver ?

Did you change the LCD and motherboard?

You all need to check out your diagnostic led's to find the cause of your problems.
