advice sought re using two video cards

I'm using windows xp with an nvidia geforce mx440 card (64mb).

I also have a matrox millenium g450 dual monitor card (32mb) from another computer and would like to use this as well.

I want to have two monitors but I need the better card for games and the like.

Is it going to cause any problems using both? Do I have to change bios settings?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated - I don't want to start fiddling with my computer if it's not possible.

You should be able to do that-- just set the Nvidia as your main card. Don't actually install any drivers for the Matrox, though-- just use the default Windows drivers. When you want to game, just disable the extra displays provided by the Matrox card. You should be in good shape.
