I'm hoping someone can help me. I have an older NEC Multisync LCD 1770nx monitor. I've had it for a while. Yesterday a friend was using my computer and now all of a sudden it's flickering. It's switching modes it seams, and the screen says "video input 1dvid no signal" then changes to "video 2 dsub". It's doing it anywhere from 3 times in a 10 minute span, to once an hour. It's extremely frustrating. I took a can of air to the outside vents of the monitor thinking it was getting hot, and did the same to the computer thinking maybe it was the video card. I unplugged all of the cords and checked them, thinking maybe it was a bad connection, or something got jarred loose since my friend was using it instead of me. It seems to do it worse when I'm loading videos or high graphics files. Could you give me some advice as to what may be going on? I'd like to fix the monitor or video card if it's possible, I can't really afford a replacement at the moment. Thank you!
