Hi Eyce,
some possible causes..
> videocard going bad
> monitor going bad
> poor video cable connections
> low memory
> just about any weird hardware overheating problem.
Do some basic troubleshooting & then post back here with the results OR if you need more help.
Good LUck :)

i have the exact problem and so far i didnt get any help. im glad i found finally found someone with this issue.

this happened to me in gta-sa for the first time and then on rome total war. only this 2 games trigger the issue. i play battlefield2, sims2, americas army, lineage2, simcity4, rise of nations, zoo tycoon2, nfsu2, nfshp2, mafia, gothic2 and some more games without any problem.

i was told that the card is overheating but how come it only happens on 2 games only?

i use the lastest drivers from nvidia 77.76 and i tried using old ones but didnt help a thing. can it be something related to directx 9.0c?

any help would be much apreciated. tks

EDIT:
forgot to add some pics, they are very much the same as the one of eyce

I wonder if Eyce is still around, im curious about how he solved the problem(if he did). I suspect that it's the gpu overheating and the only way to solve it is to underclock it.

where are you Eyce!!

Anyone here?!

I also have the same video card and mine pixilated too... Eventually the video card burned up completely after it began to artifact.

It is from over heating... look at the ventilation system under the laptop- its non-existant!

Please write back- if anyone is even out there
