I recently obtained a VX1100 gateway 21 inch monitor. When i got it, i tested it. it worked perfectly. So i unpluged it and just let it sit for a day on the end of my desk because i had no time to move it into place. I slide it into place the next day no horrible smashes or anything just slide it over about 2 feet. Now the monitor turns on, Makes all the Sounds as if its about to post a screen but nothing shows up its all black. I unpluged it and pluged the cord into my lcd flat panel. The screen shows up. I lowered all Display settings to make sure my video card wasnt trying to output a view the monitor couldnt handle. Ive turned it on and off, and not even a screen color test shows up.
I cant see how it could work and then not work... Any ideas?
