Screen flickers with DVI cable, works fine with analog

Expand Post »
I just setup a new Samsung 214T display. I preferred to connect it with the DVI cable, but when I do, the screen flickers constantly making it totally unuseable. If I connect the analog cable, it works fine, no flickering. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Could it be a bad DVI cable or is it some device close to the monitor? I have a 2.4ghz phone closeby. I also have speakers sitting next to the monitor.

You most likely have a defective DVI component, socket, or plug on the Video card.
