I agree...but what he also need to know (im not sure if he does or not) is that the cards with 256 mb of turbo cache ram really is only 64 mb and it steals the remaining 192 from your system which is much slower and ultimatly leaves you with less memory all around.
Also, i think you are wondering if your motherboard supports AGP or PCI-E. PCI is a really old interface, while PCI-E is much faster.
Also, remember, its not always the amount of ram on the graphics card that matters, but the speed of it, the latency, and the processor speed are all important as well. This does mean that a 128mb card can be much better than a 256 card. Thats why i chose my card (6600gt with 128 mb ram) as a temporary budget card untill i build my next full fledged gaming rig next year. You can go on google and type in the cards you are looking for and get benchmarks for them to see how well they fare compared to others.
