Which of the two technologies is better?
My motherboard is Intel 845G. Does it support AGP or PCI?

One of the graphics cards: XFX GeForce 6200 TurboCache 256MB (Onboard 64MB + 192 MB Shared) Has shared memory, is that better or if the onboard memory is more is that better?

What should I look at while buying a card?

Well to find out if you have AGP or PCI or PCI-e slots, you need to run an everst scan. http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

PCI is the oldest and worst, AGP is good, but it will die this year, you can get a 7800 GS, then PCI-e is the newest and fastest .. soon PCI-e2 will come out tho.

Five looks like the best .. but those are all very poor cards.

If you only have PCI .. get this one .. *the the best PCI card .. still horrible, but if you can't upgrade your mobo*

Now if you have AGP you can get the 7800 GT which is a great card

When shopping for a video card, if you are a gamer you will want at least 256mb of ram, but 512 is getting quit popular. Having 20 pixel pipes is preety good too. HAving SM 2 and 3 and usually needed for any new games.

I agree...but what he also need to know (im not sure if he does or not) is that the cards with 256 mb of turbo cache ram really is only 64 mb and it steals the remaining 192 from your system which is much slower and ultimatly leaves you with less memory all around.

Also, i think you are wondering if your motherboard supports AGP or PCI-E. PCI is a really old interface, while PCI-E is much faster.

Also, remember, its not always the amount of ram on the graphics card that matters, but the speed of it, the latency, and the processor speed are all important as well. This does mean that a 128mb card can be much better than a 256 card. Thats why i chose my card (6600gt with 128 mb ram) as a temporary budget card untill i build my next full fledged gaming rig next year. You can go on google and type in the cards you are looking for and get benchmarks for them to see how well they fare compared to others.

I have a Celeron 2.4 ghz processor, is it okay to play games with that?

it all depends on what games, and how well you want them to play, what ram, and waht graphics card is being used. Its all relative. Sure it will play games, but how well it will play them is another question. I say just try them out and see what happens ;)

Oblivion Needs 3.0 Celeron .... sooo yea it will work .. but to the extent is a diffrent question.
