The classic ATI vs Nvidia debate

Expand Post »
This is the classic debate. Which graphics card is better? The ATI or nVidia? I am going to have to go with the nvidia becuase I have tried out both and have a very good reason to go with nvidia. My ATI's both had problems with overheating and just general problems. My nvidia is great for gaming and is problem free. ATI just can't compete with nvidia yet.

What is your preference?

Re: The classic ATI vs Nvidia debate

I prefer nvidia, and the benchmarks that I've run on comprable models of each card, seems to have nvidia out-performing ATI. Also I found that SLI seems to be more reliable, and give a better performance increase than crossfire, which is a double thumbs up to nvidia. There will always be the coke vs pepsi of the video card industry, but my money lands on nvidia.

Yea I agree. If you compare the benchmarks ATI is just a step behind.
