NEC LCD 1700v Monitor problem

Any help with this please.

Booting into windows monitors comes on for a few seconds them you lose the display - if you them switch on and off a few times it come back on--

when on - the screen is the correct resolution and refresh rate correct.

You should contact the manufactuer because it sounds like it may be a faulty lcd.

But £80 or £125 including packing for Nec to collect and check out the monitor and then they will want a price to replace the faulty parts - does discourage you from making contact.

You should contact the manufactuer because it sounds like it may be a faulty lcd.

Do you have another computer you can test the displays on to make sure its not the graphics card?

Sound like you have a blacklight problem, where one of the two sets of light a burned or may have a cold joint.
