Can I connect notebook monitor w/ PC?

Hey gang, got an old notebook monitor. Was wondering if there is a way to rig it up to work on a PC. What I'm after is a dual screen display for a workstation. Just wondering if anyone has tried this before and if there were and fires that I should look out for :lol:

You would have to redesign 1/2 of that screen. It's a lost couse.

There are several guides on this forum if you search around. They do cost some money and a lot of time. It is by far not easy. It would be mor worth while to purchase a regular lcd monitor.
