Toshiba Satalite 2450 - LCD screen resolution faded

Hi all

Any ideas what else this could point to besides a stuffed LCD screen.
Image appears to be faded, like the back light on the screen not working.

Probably the Inverter behind the screen is going out... about $72 to buy, or $150 to have someone else install.
