Problem with Graphics Card After New Memory Installation

I just recently put in 1gb of pc2100 RAM on a Via KT266A MoBo. In order to install the RAM I had to remove the ATI Radeon 700 Graphics Card. When I rebooted the computer it booted up into 600x480 16 colors. When I attempt to change the resolution, it rebbots and upon rebooting I get an error telling me the display adapter is either not supported or the settings are incorrect. I can not get this error to go away, I have even tried reinstalling the drivers for the card but nothing has worked so far.

The computer is running on Windows 98 (yes I know, I can't convince the owner to upgrade it)

If anyone has any advice that would be fantastic!
