Re: monitor/ graphics card

Have you built this machine from scratch?
If so check that you have the power button wired up correctly.
Am i right in thinking that when you press the power button nothing appears on your monitor when the monitor is on? Do you hear any fans 'wuring' or the HDD sound? Does the monitor display a message similar to: "No signal" when you press the power button on your machine?

Re: monitor/ graphics card

No signal to the monitor would point to the conenction between the gfx card and the monitor to be bad. Though the monitor has power going to it which is good. Are you going to be having an extended desktop setup? You have 2 gfx cards which would point out that you have 2 monitors? Am i right in thinking this?

Re: monitor/ graphics card

Can i ask why do you have 2 Graphics cards?
The only need for two is if you are going to link them together or have 2 monitors run off of them. With the two different makes and models that you have joining them to work together is gunna be hard work.
