Replacing inverter board on a Gateway 6525GP

My son's Gateway 6525GP laptop screen is very dark. I can still see faint images on his screen. Hooking it up to an external monitor works just fine. What I've been reading is that the most likely cause would be the lcd inverter board. My problem is how do I take the case apart to get to the board? I've tried several other different forums with no reply. I'm hoping someone here can help me. Thanks!

it quite the job, are you handy with taking things apart ,if no the take it someone that is .this link is not a gateway but will give you an idea as most remove in similar manner .
