Asus generally builds good motherboards, as to whether this is a good board for you would depend on what you plan to use this computer for.
very true. in my opinion the maximus is an amazing mother board for gaming. everything on the board has a freaking heat sync on it. if you are planning to water cool, they make a water cooled version that makes it really easy. all you have to do is hook up the hoses directly to the mobo.
i only buy ASUS mobo's, iv never had a problem with them and mine have always lasted forever. there is my 2 cents
