New Sata HD Computer Not Powering Up

I Have A 3-Year old Gateway Desktop Computer.
I Today Bought A 1Tb HD, 4 Gb Virtual Memory And Windows Vista.

I replaced The old HD
Set The Memory Cards In Place.
And When I Closed It And Hooked Everything up.
Everything responsed except the PC won't Start up.

Take everything out and start over, installing all the parts carefully in accordance with the instructions, especially the memory.
Be sure you haven't disturbed any adjacent connections.

Try install the new hardware one by one at a time and power on the PC.
