newb needs help with memory upgrade

I have a Microstar K7 Pro / MS6195 mother board, can anyone tell me the max. amount of RAM per socket?

Im guessing 256mb each slot, since it can only handle a total of 768mb memory

Thanks, that's what I was expecting, too bad- it makes upgrading memory expensive. I will check out the the site you suggested. By the way, the tech rep at microstar couldn't find this answer, scary. Thanks, dcc
