HI
I have a presario 700 laptop that I purchased from an individual, whom at the time said it still worked fine, just needed a battery and power supply. I have since purchased a power supply, which I know works, and I still get nothing from the computer. Completely dead. I know quite alot about desktop PC's but have very little experience with laptops. I don't know if the MB is shot or what my next move should be? Open up and reseat the processor?
I have checked the connector (power) and it isn't loose? Could it be a cold solder joint? I was hoping someone out there whom has had a similiar problem could help me out...
