Considering building a PC can anyone recommend a motherboard/CPU which is future proofed, economy buy which would do the job, moderate gaming usage.Long term project

any suggestions welcome

I have come up with this so far

Case HAF 912 Plus MId Tower

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R(Socket 1366)

Chip Intel core i7 950 3.06MHz

open to alternatives athlon etc
