Probably means the difference between your processor lasting 20 years or 15 years. Either way, you would have upgraded by the time it dies :).

They are brilliant. Zero seek times, 15 seconds boot time to desktop, programs open within a couple of seconds.
Because of the price per megabyte, all photo's and music files are are stored on another drive through moving the 'USER' folder and changing the path in the registry. That way, only installed programs are on the SSD.

Well I enabled Hyper-Threading and It is fine. The computer I enabled it on before is still working so I guess It is safe...

hi, even if there is a real problem with electro-migration [what ever that is ] im sure its not going to happen anytime soon ,i have been running mine for over 2 yrs now and it still works as good as it did when i enabled it

It will be fine. Some-one was just trying to show how smart they were.
It can probably be compared with tyres on your car, or your shoes. They both wear out, but you never can see it happening :).
