I have had to buy a 2004 foxconn computer due to super tight budget.

I would like to increase the ram. At present it is 1gb 1rx8 -6400u-666-12-zz

there is another code on it m378t2863qzs-cf70832

I wonder if in an increase the ram to 2x2 gb ?

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

hello ,i will provide a link to Crucial ,do a scan of the computer and it will suggest best option,and it will give better idea as to what type of ram is in the pc like below ,that is from my computer i just ran the scan myself ,its safe to do so ,

DDR2 PC2-8500, DDR2 PC2-6400, DDR2 PC2-5300

Memory Type: DDR2 PC2-8500, DDR2 PC2-6400, DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 (non-ECC)
