ASUS A8V Motherboard claims i am overclocking

Expand Post »
Hello, I have recently bought an ASUS A8V deluxe motherboard and an AMD 64 Athlon 3500 and ive run into some difficulties.

When i start the computer it informs me through the speakers that an overclock has failed. my problem is i have not set it to overclock and it has done this the very first time i started the machine up, i have cleared the RTC ram but to no avail. I've been looking around for solutions but i cannot find any and i am not excellent with this sort of thing.

As it stands there is no reaction from the machine at all except for it informing me that overclocking has failed. If you could help that would be fantastic! :cheesy:
