pci-e hdmi graphics cards

hi can anyone help me, i am new to modifing computers and i wish to add a hdmi port so i can use my t.v as my monitor i have a hp pavillion p6205uk, it has a g41 express chipset can i add a graphics card as i was told that if i had a chipset i could not add one is this true and if so does anyone know what card i can get and where to purchase one

It looks like your board has a PCI-e x16 slot, so if you purchase a graphics card with hdmi output, you should be able to do what you want.
