Audio driver does not install

Hello need help.

I have on onboard Realtek AC97 Audio. I tried to update my drivers and it uninstalled the previous drivers but the new drivers did not insall. i got the drivers directly from realtek at http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True

ran the install but it doesnt work and whenever i try to enable my soundcard outside of safemode it resets my machine. if it is enabled on boot up i get a bluescreen. please help. thank you.

Audio driver needed

my mouse and key board are frozen and the computer keeps on asking.......alcxwdm/sys on avance ac97 audio driver disk needed.......try to download the logic software for the mouse and key board, the computer acepts the disk, but then asks for a location (folder), as the keyboard and mouse are frozen i cant specify which folder, is their anything i can do?:eek:
