I have an Acer cdrw(slave) and a Mad Dog DVD Rom/cdrw(master).
They were both working fine and then my computer had a nervous brake down and I had to reformat and install everything over. Now the burners will read everything except for blank cdr/cdrw's. I though maybe the problem was with XP, which was really acting strange, so I formatted again and put Win98SE on my computer but I still am having the same problems with my burners. I have updated all the drivers and uninstalled both drives but that didnt help either.
Also, I have tried using Nero,Clone and am about to install Roxio Easy CD. But so far it doesn't seem to matter which program I use.
