please be specific on what you said not running, not detected by your computer, files are corrupted cannot access, detected by your computer but cannot browse the files or what?

As cguan_77 says, could you be more specific? Did it randomly stop working? Or was it working fine, but now your computer won't boot up? Do you get any diagnostic errors? Is it a brand new HD?

have you tried to check BIOS setup? as Devoted Hosting is asking is it a brand new HDD? has it been partitioned and formatted?
