Installing a S-ATA drive...

Expand Post »
I'm getting a new PC in three days and now I think...

How would I install the S-ATA HDD without a Floppy Drive/USB Key?

I have no idea. Is there a way?

Re: Installing a S-ATA drive...

I'm getting the Asus nForce4 MoBo, hope it's supported. :<

Also, how can I know if a drive is a S-ATA or ATA by looking at it? Or checking in the Bios, is it possible?

Re: Installing a S-ATA drive...

the SATA is very different from the ATA, SATA does not use IDE cables, its got its own connector.
