I use windows XP.The configaration of my processor is 2 GB RAM,Intel core 2 due , 2.40 GHz.
But in c Drive it shows 24.4 GM capacity.The RAM is 2 GB , then how the capacity is 24.4 GB?

The 24.4 GB is the amount of space your C drive takes up. There are ram and hard disk and both of them have the GB at the back. If your hard disk have 500 GB and it shows 24.4 GB in your C drive, that means your C drive use 24.4 GB out of the 500 GB. Assuming you have no other partitions, you have left 475.6 GB of free space. 2GB ram determines the speed of your computer, the more ram the faster the computer. Hope that helps:)

have to disagree with this ,that is the size of the ram ,nothing to do with the actual speed of the computer ,that would be the cpu, core 2 ,2.40mhz

yes, more ram will make the OS work quicker ,but that's not really the speed of the computer ,when we talk speed!
