Hi,
I would like to merge two partition C:\ and D:\ , in drive C:\ there is the OS and drive D:\ is empty. Is it saves to merge those two partition without reinstalling the OS?

Jump to PostBefore doing any editing of partitions, back-up any important data onto a separate disk, just in case. Although partitioning tools like gParted are reliable, they're not perfect and there's always a chance that something happens (eg power outage) during the partion editing.

Always key the partions of your harddisk as even if your main drive i.e C gets corrupted you can backups ur files saved in other partitioned drives.
