CDROM/CDRW Problem

Expand Post »
When I started my computer and insterted a disc, this is what happened.

1. Disc was inserted
2. You could hear it beggining to read
3. The reading process slowed, and you could hear a distinct CLICK
4. The light by the CDROM drive which was once green now turned into a flashing amber.

Any ideas? My rom wont read any disc. The exact model of my drive is a
MITSUMI CR-48X5TE.

Any help would be greatly appretiated.

Re: CDROM/CDRW Problem

Try using it in DOS. If it doesn't work there, your drive's dead.
