Dear Daniweb:
My e-drive appears to have died. It will not play pre-recorded CDs & DVDs and will not allow me to burn CDs. A message reads "E drive not responding". When I check the properties of the DVD/CD drive it tells me that the disk is full - even when the disks are fresh out of the packet!
When a disk - any disk - is inserted into the disk drive, it sounds as if it is "fighting" to get going - whirs, stops, whirs, stops, etc.
Any idea what the problem could be?
