Hard Disk Error!

What would be the reason about it?any help guys?

What error? specify it, please.
in any case you should better make a back up of your data.

Then my hd work bad or make noises (it doesn't happens often, but!) I make a backup with True Image.

Specific eror

when I'm starting up my mobo it prompts me

Secondary Hard Dick Error
Please press f1

all jumpers are in correct place, no burns caps or anything in the mobo

I don't know where i could recover my file on that HD

Is it plugged in?
is it shown in the BIOS?
how big is it?
sata or ide?

yes it already plugged including power cord and the ide

40G IDE

yes it shows in the bios

What is the boot order in your BIOS

if it is set to boot say,

Hard Disk2
Hard Disk1
CDROM

it will give an error like your one as the second hard disk wont be bootable usually

if u have a UDMA2 cable(thin 80 wires) cable then please connect the secondary and master at respective connectors and set the jumper positions to CS aka Cable Select.

Hope this solves ur prob.
