Problem PC

i have a dell pc that im trying to revive. everytime i switch it on the power supply fan starts spinning then it stops. the LED on the board indicated that the power is coming through but the machine just refuses to start. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Check output from PSU if possible.

i check the power supply unit by connecting green and black wires. its working fine....

something else must be the problem.
