need help.. my compaq presario 2100 wont boot. at start up all led's lights up, dvd rom working even the cpu fan but it wont display anything not even the hp logo. same thing happen if i put an external monitor.. what's wrong woth it, please help!!

Jump to PostIf the screen is black, nothing shows then your screen is faulty. however, if the external monitor also shows nothing then it could be a short in the main board. Time for a service at your local Computer shop.
