totally dead after a naked restart

hi,
I have an Old 266 celeron PC whihc i uses to run Linux. Last day after i got a new PC i wanted to run this machine as Linux router and i configured every thing and every this was working fine. But I did a mistake by booting the PC by removing the Keyborad, mouse and monitor ...yes totally naked PC. it gave some long beep sound(Award Bios). So i know there was some problem(Prob with POST). So i restarted the machine.(again without any peripherals) no beep this time. it hangs thats it nothing happened after that. So restarted again but this time with all the peripherals plugged in. but again no beep no monitor display no key board detection totally dead!!!!! The key board lights blinks when the power is on after word nothing happens. the hard disk internal light also stoped blinking after initial blink. So what could be the problem? how could i resolve the problem.
