Hi I just purchased a Sony Vaio VGN F140E and am trying to bring it back to factory condition using the Vaio Recovery Media Kit I got with it. Problem is that there is a bios password attached and I cant get ahold of the person I bought it from to get the password. Therefore I cant change the boot order to make it boot from cd. The hard drive appears to be empty and unformatted. Does anyone have any ideas to get it to boot from the recovery media? Thank you

try to search default bios password in websites otherwise you should have to contact the person for password .
