ntldr is compressed

Help, Got up tis morning and had the ntldr file is missing.
went to microsoft and followed their direction to load the files.
now I get the ntldr is compressed.
I trided the expand req. but it will not expand it. beentrying eveything I can think of but nothing is working .
MS is no help on this error. they say to repete the loading of the file. :rolleyes: it doesn't change a thing. I know some of you have delt with this . Please help I do not want to have to reload winsdows again

If you know someone with XP, please visit this site for instructions on how to create a boot disk for XP. Use their computer to recover the Ntldr and Ntdetect.com files from the I386 in the Windows Folder on the Local c drive.

been there done that. I have copied the file too many times to count.
First i got ntldr file is missing. went to MS web site ahd followed their directions. then I got the ntldr is compressed.
I can't get past this one. nothing has worked as of yet. :sad:
