I always leave my computer on when I'm not home (w/ the monitor off). I come home the other day and the monitor is blinking (the power button). So i figure my monitor is dead and I get a cheap used one and I realize my monitor is fine, its my computer.
I already bought another one as I was going to anyhow, but I really want to be able to transfer the data from the old computer to the new one, especially all the bookmarks I have on Firefox and Opera over the last few years.
Anyone know what the problem might be and if it will be a problem to transfer the files when I get my new computer? I'm only really concerned about the brower info and a few family video files.
