Dead HP Pavillion 7955

I have a dead machine with a ASUS motherboard. Can anyone help...?
It's power's up but it wont boot and no video appears. I have already tried another Video card, reset the CMOS and made sure that everything is plugged in correctly. Is there something i'm missing! :eek:

thanks. But i fixed it. It was the CPU. It was burnt!
