System Slows down while copying

Recently my system is slowing dopwn while copying from a cd to hard disk.

my cd drive is samsung combo and hdd is samsung 120 sata.

motherboard is intel 945g.

anybody plz help to solve this problem.

Your HD is getting full, plus the free space is frgmented, making the copying routine doing more of the searching for the free spots on your drive than copying.
Loosen up some space and defragment the drive.
I recommend Executive Software Diskeeper. It has more abilities than any other defragmenter I've tried.
May be that you will have to defragment the drive number of times to get it 100% defragmented.
