My daughter has a Gateway Solo 2150 laptop. On a couple different occasions it wouldn't shut down. Being a little too hasty, I pulled out the battery. There never seemed to be any problem after that. but then, she had it packed away for 9 months, and now it won't boot. I replaced the battery charger, as it was bad, and reseated the processor, memory and hard drive. The hard drive will spin, but the light doesn't come on showing that it is working. Any thoughts?
