Hi.

I hibernated my laptop last night, and it won't startup in the morning.

When I try to startup, some LEDs light up (WiFi flickers for a moment, then the Caps Lock, Num Lock, followed by Hard Disk LED which flickers for a moment, then the DVD check). The screen is blank all the time, and nothing happens after this.

What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Ashish

Well... it started up. It seems there is something loose inside, and all it needed was a good jerk, which happened by accident.

This laptop fell on my other Dell, and got a hit on and the area where the hard disk is located. Could it mean that some thing is loose with the hard disk, and it was not getting read? I have never opened up a laptop before, so if I opened up the back side, would it be worth it to try and find whats loose?

It might have just ran out of power while hibernating or there just might be an error.i suggest just clicking on sleep it's easier to use for me anyway.
